I thought you'd be there,
To comfort me when I was sad.
I was never comforted.

I thought you'd be there,
To rejoice with me when I was happy.
No one came to rejoice to me.

I thought you'd be there,
To calm me down when I was angry.
You never calmed me down.

I waited and waited for you to come,
I sat there and cried for you to come.
But you never came.

Now I realize,
You never cared.
