I want everything to be in order,

I try so hard to please,

I stammer and blush,
a nervous wreck.

I try to think of myself,
myself as others see me.
I don't understand.

They think I'm wonderful,
something I do not see.
I can't understand.

I have always wanted,
wanted to be with you.
