Is there suffering in grave?
Description
VTR: Is there really a suffering in grave? This I have always wondered.
ADNAN OKTAR: There is no such thing as suffering in grave. When people die, they move onto another dimension. What grave are you talking about? People think that the deceased rest in their graves. But what about those who die in a fire, their bodies burning down to their last bone? How can they rest in the grave? Some say, "Here is our family grave yard where my predecessors rest, and I sometimes talk to them." But where do those who burnt to death rest? Or what about those who died five or ten thousand years ago? Their bones have long turned into dust, and their graves have long fallen into decay. There is no such thing. What God means by grave in the Qur'an is the resurrection of people from their resting places where they slumber. When people die, they immediately pass on to another dimension. God says in the verse of the Qur'an, "On that day, people's sight will be sharp and clear." Heaven and Hell come into existence in a matter of seconds; it is not something that will take years and effort as the deceased are not subjected to the limitations of time. For example, when people die, they are met by their friends who are alive and well; how is this possible? This means that they are also dead. There occurs a shift in the space-time. Therefore, their friends have already been dead. In other words, all of them are dead and alive simultaneously. The people we call dead are actually alive in the Sight of God. For another consciousness, they are considered unborn. Those who we think to be dead are actually still unborn or newborn for another consciousness. Therefore, people immediately go to the hereafter the moment they die, taking their place in heaven or hell. Why do people think that the deceased await the Judgment Day in their graves, this I do not understand. For one thing, when the Judgment Day comes, what we call earth will completely perish including the pieces of land we call graves. Some say, "When we are resurrected, we will rise from our grave in so-and-so town," having an absurd notion that the graveyard will remain intact when the Judgment Day comes. There is no such thing as rising from a marble tomb. The entire earth will be utterly obliterated, along with anything on it, including everyone's grave. What is called 'grave' is a place where the deceased rest in a temporary slumber until the day they are awakened. For example, some drown in the middle of the sea with no body to be found, or some die in fire, their bodies become almost vaporized. These people do not have graves. Another example is the atomic explosion in Japan, where people were instantly disintegrated. Or when people die in a napalm bombardment, their bodies are vaporized. In conclusion, the deceased do not wait in the grave; they enter into another dimension.
