How much investment do I need to get an E2 Visa?
There is no minimum amount of money that required to be invested for an E-2 visa. The general accepted amount is around $100,000. However, the amount of money that required to be invested depends on whether a new business is being started or an existing business purchased. If it is a purchased business, they will look at past numbers to determine the amount needed. This does not mean investment less than $100,000 will not be qualified for E-2 investment visa. There are cases with the investments around $50,000 or more which allowed the applicants to get E-2 visas. This shows each E visa application varies based on the business, its location and its business plan.
