Former Rhode Island basketball coach Dan Hurley turned down an offer from Pitt to take the head coaching job at UConn. Pitt went 8-24 last season and didn't win a single game in conference play. The Panthers were perennial tournament contenders under Jamie Dixon, but failed to make the postseason under Kevin Stallings in two seasons. Is Pitt still a desirable job?
