Description

In Iran, the economic crisis means that fewer Iranians can afford to get married. With extra-marital sex severely punished, more and more young Iranians are resorting to "sigheh" or temporary marriage. It can last from a few hours to several weeks and comes with official religious approval. But the Iranian authorities disapprove of this practice and have set up a state-run matchmaking website in the hope of encouraging traditional marriage.

We also head to Mount Sinjar in Iraq, where Kurdish fighters from Iraq and Turkey are fighting side by side against the Islamic State group. In the past, relations between the Iraqi peshmerga and Turkish PKK have often been strained. Even today, tensions remain. Our reporters take us to the frontline.
Finally, we meet Egyptian-American journalist Mona Eltahawy. She says that the women who helped secure the fall of Hosni Mubarak have only suffered since his ouster.
