IPL Spot Fixing Probe : Judicial custody for Sreesanth

NewsX: The three tainted Rajasthan players, S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, who have been arrested for alleged spot-fixing in the 6th edition of the Indian T20 League , were, on Tuesday, sent to judicial custody till the 4th of June. The Saket court on Tuesday rejected the police's request for two more days of custody for Sreesanth and the other two cricketers.
The court also rejected Chavan's bail plea - he is who is reportedly set to tie the knot on the 2nd of June. The trio will now be kept at the Tihar Jail till the 4th of June which will be the next hearing date. Sreesanth, Chandila and Chavan were arrested by the Delhi police in Mumbai on the 16th of May.
