iPhone 15 Converting to USB-C

Apple is gearing up to unveil its next-generation devices in the fall, with significant changes expected in the high-end iPhone 15 models. According to a report from Bloomberg, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will support USB-C charging, replacing the proprietary Lightning charger that has been in use since 2012. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models are also rumored to feature titanium edges instead of stainless steel, potentially reducing their weight. USB-C, a widely-used charging standard for modern gadgets, will allow users to use a single charger for various devices, including Android phones, tablets, and some of Apple's iPads and Amazon's Kindle eReaders. Apple is contemplating raising the prices of its high-end iPhone Pros. Since 2019, the company has offered the iPhone Pro starting at $999 and the larger Max model at $1,099 in the U.S.
