Description
Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski, who was recently elected as an International Olympic Committee (IOC) member, has to follow a very strict code of ethics. Jaworski, the only Asian among the group that includes the president of the United States Olympic Committee, said everybody went through a thick book that set great limitations on what they could do. She explained that she cannot work on IOC subsidies or implement programs, and she should also inform the IOC of any personal projects before she accepts them. Jaworski, a gold medalist in the 2002 Busan Asian Games, will soon replace Frank Elizalde as IOC representative to the Philippines. Mornings@ANC, September 19, 2013
