Introductory Rock Climbing Techniques Video

Anna, an REI Outdoor School instructor, demonstrates some introductory climbing techniques in this video. Some of the things that can make climbing easier and more efficient are using your legs when climbing, dropping your heels to help put weight on your feet, extending arms to preserve strength, using a relaxed and open grip, using hand holds as foot holds and taking some time to enjoy the view.
