Description
An introduction to Mathematical Logic.
This is most simple topic in the entire syllabus of mathematics and carries around 6 marks in HSC board exam. Just understanding the tricks and doing ample practice you can score maximum marks.
More over due to Zero Calculation you can save lot of valuable time during the board exam. These time can be used to solve more time consuming problem.
According to new pattern of question paper there is no external option. So you cannot skip any topic. You have attempt each and every questions in board exam.
This topic is best for the students who are poor in trigonometry and calculus.
The score in exam. not only depends upon how you work hard thought the year but also depends upon what you write in the answer paper during exam.
So friends we shall begin to learn Logic step by step.
What is included in this chapter?
1.Statement in logic.
2.Types of connectives and compound
statements.
3.Truth tables of Conjunction, disjunction,
4. Truth tables of negation, implication and double implication.
5. Converse, inverse and contrapositive of an implication.
6.Tautology, Contradiction, Contingency
7. Logical equivalence and duals of a statement.
8.Negation of compound statement.
9.Quantifiers and quantified statements and their
negations.
10.Application of logic to switching circuits.
In march 2019 board question paper there is a question no. 7 in section -B carries mark 2 and question no. 21 in section D carries mark 4.
