Interplanetary pop from Mars to Earth

Unfortunately the Martians themselves were not able to hear it.

But earthlings back at NASA's base in California were privileged to listen to the first ever planet-to-planet music broadcast.

"Reach for the Stars", a new song by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, was beamed from Earth to NASA's Curiosity rover on Mars and back again.
