In today's lecture, I'll discuss basics mathematics in physics calculus part.
In calculus, first I'll discuss Integration.
Integration is the calculation of an integral. Integrals in maths are used to find many useful quantities such as areas, volumes, displacement, etc.
In mathematics, an integral is the continuous analog of a sum, which is used to calculate areas, volumes, and their generalizations. Integration, the process of computing an integral, is one of the two fundamental operations of calculus, the other being differentiation.
Definite integral is used to find the area, volume, etc. for defined range, as a limit of sum. Learn the properties, formulas and how to find the definite value of integration.
The definite integral of any function can be expressed either as the limit of a sum or if there exists an antiderivative F for the interval [a, b], then the definite integral of the function is the difference of the values at points a and b.
we shall confine ourselves to the study of indefinite and definite integrals and their elementary properties including some techniques.
These two problems lead to the two forms of the integrals, e.g., indefinite and definite integrals, which together constitute the Integral Calculus.
