Ingrid Kern - Growth

How I wanted to fit in!
I needed to be accepted, to please and to win.
It wasn't enough to be just me.
My actions took me on a descending journey to hell
I'll never forget.
There are few things in life I really regret.
This one I could have done without.
It made me lose my innocence.
I guess this is what life is all about.
I emulated people around me
and went out of control.
My inside was screaming for attention,
So I dove into this big beautiful cloud
and fell through a black hole.
My dead father's voice brought me back,
Which triggered a new beginning
and made me see beyond the surface of things.
