Indrani Case: Why the '8 hour'delay?

The most startling twist yet in the Indrani saga while chief-accused in the Sheena murder case Indrani Mukerjea continues to be in a critical state, there is still no clarity over whether it was a suicide bid or a murder attempt.

What has come to light now is that Byculla jail authorities waited at least 8 hours before shifting an Unconcious Indrani to a hospital.
