Description

The Brazilian government said it would review its relations with Indonesia after the latter country executed Brazilian citizen Rodrigo Gularte by firing squad on Tuesday on drug trafficking charges. Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff had appealed to Jakarta for a stay in the execution given Gularte's diagnosed schizophrenia so that he could get treatment, but to no avail. He is the second Brazilian national executed in Indonesia this year on drug charges. teleSUR
