If you sing for me
I will blaze the night sky for you
Like a comet set on fire by God himself.

If you dance for me
I will rage across the ocean floor
And steal her every sparkling secret for you.

If you fight for me
I will cry so-full-of-pride mountains will crumble
at your name, your mouth, your eyes, your hair.

But if you love me,
I say, if you truly love me,
I will break apart into a million shards
Of multi-colored glass.

I was not built for such things as your love.
