Of measuring
The ocean's depth
Nor the earth's breadth

Nor did I ever expect
The impossible...

All that I hoped
Was to be treated
As human as possible

Was a loving glance
That would bring me shine

All that I hoped
Was a warm touch
That would melt me

All that I hoped
Was to see the earth
Filled with love

All that I hoped
Was compassion as deep
As the oceans

All that I hoped
Was a sky full of
Cheer and peace
