little talks
long silences
from inside is heard
a sudden scream
that doesn't go
beyond the boundary
yet lips break into a smile

nothing gets revealed on the surface

the self-consuming fire
artistically arranges
heaps of ashes in
attractive patterns
sometimes a phoenix
throws itself out of the heap

none notices the bird!
