Indian Sari Draping Tutorial

Simple and easy to follow tutorial on draping an Indian sari. It's not as difficult as you might think!

If you are draping a sari for the first time, it is probably recommended that you have a friend help you - to check if the pleats are proper and look neat. Once you have a hang of the process, it is very easy and can be done alone and in a matter of minutes.

You need to have:
- Sari
- Blouse
- Under-skirt (this can also be substituted with trousers if you are feeling adventurous)
- Some large safety pins

This is a traditional style of draping a sari and one of the most elegant ways. There are numerous ways to drape a sari and you can get very creative - play around with the loose end (called the pallu) and wrap it around your neck or leave in a different style for a changed look.
