Indian farmer develops clock with second hand that runs backwards
Description
Laxman Singh Devda, who lives in Panpur village, Mandsaur district, Maharashtra, made the unique clocks over the span of six months, using the parts of two other timepieces.
Devda commented that: "One day I thought to do something innovative, so I thought why can’t these watch needles turns into the left direction and shows the right time?
"When I first saw the needles turning [counterclockwise] I was shocked and happy too. Now I am getting orders in large numbers to make watches using this technology."
One clock with this unique mechanism costs around 2500 INR (around $34.67).
