India-US relations are progressing: EAM Jaishankar

Speaking at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) Annual Leadership Summit, EAM S Jaishankar said that India-US relations are progressing.

He said, “India-US relations are progressing. Trade is around $150 billion, expecting to go even higher. In investment, last year we got the highest ever FDI and very large share from US.”

He further added, “Today there is a very good fit between India and the US. The outcome document from the bilateral visit (of PM Modi to US) is actually a partnership for the global good. This is not a phrase we would have used even 5 years ago.”
