India may import vaccines

The largest manufacturer of COVID-19 vaccines may have to import doses. The Indian government is considering buying vaccines externally as the coronavirus pandemic wreaks havoc in the country. Over the weekend, it recorded over 400,000 daily cases, the numbers have now dropped to over 300,000. India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is facing increasing pressure to impose a nationwide lockdown.
