Ina Gabrielsen - A new beginning

For ten years my road has been writtten for me
but now that chapter is over
and a whole new page starts
the difference is
now I have to write it on my own
The ten years of school is over
Now I must make it on my own
I must make new friends
new rules of behavior
and new connections
I only have the summer to prepare
It's like the end of a beautiful fairy tale
those ten years will be the best years of my life
my friends are gone
it's my turn to use my own words
a new world is about to be created
by me
and only by me
I hope I'm ready, because
I will never get my old life back!
