In Springtime, Part 2,~1925~Chicago Symphony

March 20, the first day of spring in 2015. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Frederick Stock Performs Carl Goldmark's In Springtime Overture, Part 2, composed in 1888. Victrola 6576B was recorded at Orchestra Hall in Chicago December 20, 1925 and was one of the earliest electrical recordings. This 78 has 5 defects which it is impossible to repair but they do not detract so badly as to prevent this from being shared.
