Immigration, an American paradox

America prides itself on being a melting pot built on immigration. Despite this history, some 11 million undocumented migrants are seeing their path to US citizenship very much blocked. The Republican-controlled Congress has stalled President Obama's immigration reform bill and the debate is turning increasingly toxic. To understand this complex debate, our correspondents went to Nashville, Tennessee, which boasts one of the fastest-growing immigrant populations in the country.
