IMBERT ON WASA

Recently appointed Minister of Public Utilities Colm Imbert says he is looking forward to working on the ground with people in his new position.

Following the sod turning ceremony for the upgrade of the Chatam Water Treatment Plant today, Minister Imbert spoke about his plans for the Ministry.

He says his main focus will be on the improvement of WASA, however, when asked about the Ministry’s push toward utility rate increases he said, it is still in the direction however, he says it is “a long way from now.”
