Der Capture kombiniert die Vorzüge eines Sports Utility Vehicle mit der Variabilität eines Kompaktvans und der Genügsamkeit eines Kleinwagens: Werksverbauch nur 3,6 Liter. Der Capture läuft auf der Modulplattform des Renault Clio, ist aber durch die 17 Zentimeter Bodenfreiheit auch für Feldwege und Schotterpisten gut gerüstet.
