illinois haze - Unbreakable

The summer air stains the night
written words in ink
a sunset with homeade wine
I feel relaxed
and well taken back
with a pen in my hand
and a girl on my mind
we listen to eachother
and are inspiration
his is my mother
with complete adoration
mine is a girl
a fire dimmly lit
there was a chance
for a dance
that i quietly missed
but if its on the parchment
then its off of our chest
not in our heads
or whispered on our breath
we have a gift
on the edge of are tounge
to put thoughts in rhymes
and words in songs
A brotherhood of symmetry
we write the wrongs
it means so much to me
the poets unbreakable bond
