Illegal fertiliser repacking syndicate crippled
Description
Enforcement officers from the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry raided an illegal subsidized fertilizer repacking factory in Guar Chempedak, Gurun and seized various types of chemical fertiliser worth about RM100,000.
Over 96 tonnes of subsidised chemical fertiliser were seized and a lorry was confiscated during the raid.
A 36-year-old man, who is believed to be in charge of the factory, along with four illegal Pakistani workers were arrested.
