IGP: Settlement pattern, population density made rescue operations difficult in Shah Alam

The settlement pattern and population density were among the factors for the delay of the rescue operations and evacuations of flood victims in Shah Alam, said Inspector-General of Police Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani.

He added that the evacuation process is easier to be carried out in other states, such as Kelantan, Pahang and Terengganu due to the low population density.
