The passion he had

No one could compete with

Not the best

but not easily beaten

Hardly beaten..

He was the second best

The hundred metres, he loved to run..

But never was there a chance

He'll do that for the school

The four hundred metres...

his coach always commandeered him to run

His heart was never there

For a chance on being on the team

He accepted the four hundred

though no other could defeat him

No chance he would get the spot

Nothing his coach wouldn't do to make him leave

Nothing his coach wouldn't do to humilate him

Nothing his coach wouldn't do

No love, his coach had for him

The day his dream came true

To represent his house in the interhouse

With an outburst of passion and heart

He ran for his house

He came in; in second place

He was happy

But Alas; his position, he was robbed of

But still he led his house to victory

He was their m.v.p

He was a great athlete
