Incumbent Sungai Udang assemblyperson Idris Haron said he was sacked from Umno before he could explain what was happening in Malacca.
According to him, Harapan agreed to support him as the new Malacca chief minister, and for Umno to continue leading the state, however the party did not allow him to explain before sacking him.
