The Rio Cinema shared the engagement news on Twitter.
The Beasts of No Nation star and the former beauty queen made their red carpet debut in September 2017.
Elba has been married twice before.
He told Essence last year, “Am I ever gonna get remarried? I don’t think so. I’ve done it. It’s not for everybody."
