Identifying the dead in Kenya

Day three of the deadly mall attack in Kenya. Thick smoke billowed out of the Westgate shopping centre. Gunfire erupted as security forces scramble for cover. Armored military vehicles on the streets.

Kenyan officials say they're closing in on the al Shabaab militants who stormed the mall on Saturday killing at least 62 people. But it's unclear how many gunman and hostages are still in the building.

The process of identifying the dead has begun. Officials from various embassies arrived at Nairobi's mortuary on Monday. Among those killed were people from Britain, France, Canada, Ghana, China, and the Netherlands. This man came to collect the body of his niece.
