Idea: Car indicators that envelope the sides

Originally seen on Viddler: http://viddler.com/explore/djsteen/videos/919 --- I've had this idea for a while. (As I've mentioned here, I think it's a good idea to get ideas out in the open. Especially if you don't have the means to implement them.) Imagine if the entire side of a car was illuminated in orange/amber when the turn signal/indicator was on.
