ICF Canoe Slalom Development Programme - Meet Tony Estanguet

At the occasion of the 2015 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup Final in Pau, France, the members of the Talent Identification Programme of the ICF had the chance to spend some time with the three time Olympic Gold medallist Tony Estanguet (FRA) and benefit from his experience.

In Pau, 15 countries and 4 continents were represented by 21 athletes. They had a one week training session during the official training and two more weeks with the 2020 Generation of the Talent Identification Programme. The coaching was provided by paddlers from Brazil, macedonia, Greece and France.

In London for the 2015 World Championships, 15 athletes from 5 continents represent 11 nations. The TIP Excellence is Generation 2016 and TIP World is Generation 2020. Coaching is provided by Netherlands, France, and Greece.
