Things haven’t started well for the future West Indies women at the ICC U19 world cup in Malaysia.

The young Caribbean women fell flat in their opener against India, losing by 9 wickets after only mustering 44 in their knock.

However, they have a chance to bounce back later tonight as they will face Sri Lanka in a must-win match from 10:30 pm

Meanwhile, South Africa and Australia both remained unbeaten picking up win number two, while England and the United States both got off the mark after no-results in their first match.
