Pakistan spies impersonate as defence officers & call middle level govt officials. Spies try to tactfully engage them in friendly conversations to elicit sensitive info. Even valid extension number of sena bhawan have been used. Phone calls redirected to ild gateways to indian telecom services. Adversaries resorting behind proxies, which make trace routing difficult.
