I MAKE MY OWN BABY WIPES – 'THEY’RE TEN TIMES BETTER THAN STORE BOUGHT'

With VID AND PIX

By Todd Sasin

A woman has caused a stir online after revealing that she makes her own baby wipes – claiming they’re better than store bought.

This unusual money-saving life hack has sent people into meltdown; shocked that somebody creates their own wipes!

Maya Overett, from Fishers, Indiana, USA, showcases a series of videos of the process, documenting how she manages to make them for her son.

The recipe includes cutting a roll of paper towel in half and adding two cups of water, two tablespoons of coconut oil and a teaspoon of baby soap into a jug.

Maya then lets it rest and formulate over time by compactly sealing the top of the jug.

Previously, she used store-bought baby wipes that eventually led to her son having a rash, however now Maya handcrafts her own, she claims her son hasn’t experienced any rashes while it also being ‘super cost-effective’ for the mum of one.

The UGC creator has gained attraction from users online who have been left amazed at Maya’s unique idea.

However, Maya has also been hit with criticism online claiming that ‘a lot of people have a problem.

Some people have frequently queried if that wipes would eventually become mouldy, while others have assumed that Maya is doing this in an effort to save some cash.

Maya said: “A lot of people think I’m just doing this because I’m like a new mum and I’m being all extra, but I’ve been doing this for eight months and it’s honestly so quick and easy.

“I bought all these supplies to make this upfront and I haven’t had to purchase anything for a while now.

“The wipes are so smooth, and they take everything off so easily and they’re like ten times better than any other wipe that I’ve used that are store bought.

“My baby does not get rashes from these. He loves these wipes, and I love these wipes.”
