Hyena Behaves Strangely While Taking a Dip

This visitor to the Etosha National Park in Namibia caught this spotted hyena indulging in some strange behaviour. While they are known to take regular dips in the water in order to cool off in the hot sun, this one seemed to have a strange reaction. While submerged in the Chudop Waterhole, the hyena began pawing and snapping at the air as if fighting off an invisible attacker. Credit: YouTube/Tracking the Wild
