Hundreds killed near Damascus

Massacre on the streets of Daraya. Bodies, more than 200 of them were found in this town southwest of Damascus. Some were gunned outside as they gathered with friends while others were killed crossing the road.

Who is responsible? Activists say President Bashar al Assad's forces went from house to house killing hundreds execution style. The Syrian government are pointing to "foreign terrorists."

This rebel sniper in Aleppo sets his sites on a man he says is a Syrian soldier in this video posted to a social media website.

Residents of the country's largest city say the helicopter gunships attacked rebel outposts overnight. One activist group says more than 400 people were killed in fighting on Saturday ---it's the highest death toll for a single day since the conflict began.
