Humans Have Cared For Dogs Basically Forever

We buy them clothes, food, treats, toys, beds, crates, the human food they don’t need to be eating, and pretty much anything else they need. Dogs are especially precious to us, and they’re known as “man’s best friend” for a reason. As it turns out, we’ve been taking care of dogs similar to the way we do now for years, dating all the way back to the prehistoric age. Analysis of the dog’s teeth revealed that it was about 28 weeks old when it passed away, and it likely ended up passing from distemper after suffering illness for several periods of time before it died.
