HTC Incredible S vs Desire HD

Oddly enough just yesterday I met a guy who works at HTC and he had an Incredible S. I asked him why he didn't get the Desire HD since it's more expensive/better. He said the desire is more expensive due to its metal frame and he recommended people get the Incredible S as it's "more stable" and "has a better monitor". I think the front facing camera and the fact that it's cheaper than the HD are the main points.
