How We Perform a TPLO Surgery

TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery is a common procedure performed to treat cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tears in dogs, particularly large or active breeds. The goal of TPLO is to stabilize the knee joint and restore normal function. During the procedure, the tibial plateau (the top part of the shin bone) is cut and rotated to level it, preventing the knee from slipping when the CCL is damaged.
