How to unlock boot loader, install TWRP and root any Oneplus device without data loss or boot-loop

This video will guide you in unlocking the boot loader, installing TWRP custom recovery and rooting your Oneplus devices like Oneplus 2, Oneplus 3 or Oneplus X. Herere the download links mentioned in the video:\r

Ive told and given the command at 3:05 in the video as fastboot oem-bootloader. This is an error from my side and please note that its fastboot reboot-bootloader.\r
\r
Please note that sometimes your phone might go into temporary bootloops when you unlock the bootloader. But if you have properly followed the commands that Ive instructed in the video, youll be safe. If the bootloop persists, please restart the phone 3-4 times by long pressing the power button and itll sovle the bootloop. If the bootloop still persists, please dont use the Super-Su beta app for unlocking the bootloader and rooting. Instead, please use a final version of Super-su. This will definitely solve the problem.\r

Sometimes the back-up method provided in the video doesnt work. Its always safe to use helium back-up to take a full back-up of all the apps that youve so that in case something happens, you can restore your apps from the helium back-up youve done. Ive made a detailed video about how to back-up apps using helium. Heres the link:\r

Please remember that even if you use helium app for app back-up, it wont back-up your media files. So please copy your media files onto a computer before performing this operation.\r
