How to Reset Task Manager to Default Settings in Windows 10?

Step 1: Press 'Windows + r' key on the keyboard to get 'Run' Window.

Step 2: Type 'regedit' in the box without quotes, and then click on 'ok' button to open registry editor.

Step 3: Go to Path below:-

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TaskManager

Note: 'TaskManager' is the key which stores all Task Manager settings such as Default tab, window size, customized options, etc.

Step 4: Click on 'Task Manager' to select it. Right click on it, and then click on 'Delete,' and then click on 'yes' button.

Step 5: Close the Registry Editor, and then Open 'Task Manager' again. you will see its reset to default settings.
