How to Remove cse.google.com Google Custom Search & Other Proxy Redirects
Description
cse.google.com redirect happens due to some malware which changes the proxy settings to 127.0.0.1 and keeps redirecting you to the different website.\r
\r
Whenever you search anything on Google it redirects you to cse.google.com every time.\r
\r
CSE is known as Google Custom Search and whenever your PC get affected by proxy malware then it redirects you to Google Custom Search.\r
\r
Doesnt matter if you are using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or any other browser it keeps you redirecting to rogue, explicit and irrelevant websites.\r
\r
And the Proxy Server Keeps changing to 127.0.0.1 : 8080\r
\r
Remove cse.google.com redirect from chrome, firefox, and other browsers.\r
\r
1. Check for recently installed programs and uninstall unwanted programs.\r
\r
2. Check for background processes and end all processes by unwanted software.\r
\r
3. Check for syshostctl process into task manager\r
Right-click on it and open containing folder.\r
Locate dsq folder into Program Data - Microsoft - Network folder.\r
\r
4. Look for Windows services and if you are getting Windows Security Service then Stop and disable it.\r
\r
5. Delete Windows Security Folder from Program Data.\r
\r
6. Boot your computer into Safe mode.\r
\r
7. Delete that DSQ folder.\r
\r
8. Right click on Chrome and click Run as administrator and search for proxy settings.\r
\r
9. Click on Advanced option and remove proxy server address.\r
\r
10. Open registry editor and navigate to HKEY_Local_Machine then SOFTWARE - Clients - Mails and delete Channel ID Registry key\r
\r
11. Navigate to HKEY_CuRRENT_USER - Software - Microsoft - Windows - Current Version - Internet Settings.\r
\r
12. Delete Proxy Server and Enable Proxy Registry key.\r
\r
13. Set the value to 0 for following registry keys- EnableHttp1_1 Migrate Proxy ProxyHttp1.1\r
\r
14. Right click on Internet Setting Folder and Click Permission\r
\r
Remove the fill control for Administrators, keep it to read only.\r
Allow full access to your username.\r
\r
Hit Apply and Click Advanced and disable Inheritance for all principals if it is Enabled.\r
\r
\r
15. Download Hitman pro and Scan your PC, after scan delete all found malware.\r
\r
16. Download and Install Ccleaner and Go to Registry and Scan for registry issues.\r
\r
Fix all registry problems.\r
\r
All Done !\r
\r
Now you will not get any kind of redirect.
