How to Make Homemade Finger Paint

Here's a great activity to do with your kids! Make your own finger paint with this SheKnows how-to!




Ingredients:
• 2 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 4 ½ cups water
• Food coloring
Instructions:
1. Add 4 ½ cups water and salt to pot
2. Set stove to medium heat
3. Slowly add in flour, mixing with whisk to make sure there are no clumps
4. Once mixture starts to thicken put heat on low and continue to stir until you get the right consistency
5. Scoop out a couple spoonful’s and add to containers or baking tray
6. Add 2 drops of coloring and mix
7. Store in air-tight containers
