How to Make a Tabletop Moss Garden

Replace that stack of magazines on your coffee table with this do-it-yourself miniature garden. In this video, learn how to make a tabletop moss garden. This design uses landscape fabric, well-draining potting mix, pea gravel, moss, rocks, a ceramic dish, driftwood, spoon, scissors, and a drill with a ceramic-tile bit. First, add water to the dish before drilling at a 45-degree angle to create a groove as a foothold. Next, line the dish with the landscape fabric before adding the pea gravel. Now, add the potting mix and use a spoon to dig holes for the rocks and plants. Finally, tuck and trim the sides so that the edges of the dish are clean.
